When "Let's go to the beach" actually end up being a hike

Like stated before, what you plan and what you end up doing in the Caribbean are two entirely different discussions. This is such a beautiful and vibrant place on the planet that it has fascinated generations of travelers and artists alike—and yes, that definitely includes Rihanna.

Looking back at this photo from my camera roll, my first thought is just how massive everything felt from up there. I was standing right on the edge of those volcanic rocks, looking out at the cruise ship floating in the bay like a tiny toy boat. It completely puts life into perspective.

The wind was aggressively trying to steal my hat and the climb was definitely not an easy one. The blazing tropical sun made it feel like a sauna session was fully included in the hike. However, once you get to the top and catch that endless blue horizon, every bit of sweat is instantly forgotten. You just stand there, completely rewarded by the magic of the ocean.

And yes, I did also went to the beach that day 🌊 😍
